Force moments of a normal distributed field.

Parameters:

field (numpy.ndarray) – Normal distributed values.
mean (float, optional) – Desired mean of the field. Default: 0
var (float or None, optional) – Desired variance of the field. Default: 1

Returns:

Transformed field.
